As I continue to make my way through the mass amount of unfinished business (crap everywhere) on my bench I find myself making things that I am really excited about. I have had this piece I enameled sitting on my bench for what feels like years... the sterling band around it was one of my pebble shapes that I just never did anything with. I annealed it and put it on my ring stretcher until it fit around the enameled disc.... torch + solder + bail + steel cord = necklace! All recycled from things just laying around waiting to get turned into something after so much time being nothing.
You just shouldn't ever completely give up on things, everything has potential, sometimes they just need time. I think that's today's lesson.
