.sinking vessels.

Tonight was my first class of raising and sinking vessels @ the art center. Our first project was to sink a bowl. So, as you see from the pictures below, a 6" diameter circle of copper is now, 3 hours of hammering later.. a little 2 inch deep bowl. Super awesome... I'd type more but i pretty much can;t feel my hammering hand anymore.
